ABSTRACTED FROM INTRODUCTION:
This one-pager provides details on the LAND-at-scale project in Iraq. This project is implemented by UN-Habitat and The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HIIL), and financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs via the Netherlands Enterprise & Development Agency (RVO).
The current study focuses on mapping active stakeholders and HLP rights projects and programmes in areas of return in Iraq. Specific attention will be given to economic and political factors and challenges, as well as the gender dimensions of these programs.
