Showing items 1 through 3 of 3.Høgfjells in North Gudbrandsdal is an area allocated for lamb seasonal grazing. Lamb production from there encompasses municipalities of Dovre, Lesja, Lom, Oppland, Skjåk and Lom. A significant portion of this grazing area should be higher than 800 m. within said geographical landmark.
The purpose of this Regulation is to increase the quality of previously drained agricultural land by providing subsidies for drainage of poorly drained soils, with potential for the increase of agricultural production and to minimize erosion and runoff of nutrients into watercourses.
Purpose of the subsidy is to avoid and reduce tilling and other treatment of the soil of arable land in the autumn so as to enhance the growing of vegetation on it and subsequent reduction of effects of erosion.
