These Regulations amend the Land Survey Regulations in regulation 2 by inserting new definitions and by repealing Part VIII and substituting a new Part on Plans for Registration.

The primary objective of the National Land Use Plan (NLUP) is to provide a strategic framework to guide land development in Guyana. As such the NLUP is built upon a number of national policies and strategies that have a direct relevance for land use and land management.
This Act amends the Survey Act in provisions relating to fees for registration and other acts relating to surveying. The word "prescribed" in relation to fees is cancelled in sections 19, 19A, 19B, and 19C.
