This Act consists of 44 sections divided into 3 Parts. It regulates livestock and agricultural operations. It includes regulations for spreading manure or compost for all livestock operations in Alberta.
The present Act lays down rules relating to expropriation in the province of Alberta. It applies to any expropriation authorized by the law of Alberta and prevails over any contrary provisions that may be found in the law, except the statutes enumerated in the Schedule.
The present Code enacts the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act. The Code lays down provisions relating to land treatment of soil containing hydrocarbons.
The present Order enacts the Surveys Act. In particular, the Order lays down provisions relating to cadastral mapping fees which must be paid at the time a plan of survey or descriptive plan is submitted for registration at the Land Titles Office.
The purpose of the present Act is to outline the composition, functioning and jurisdiction of the Surface Rights Board.
The present Act creates a framework for land survey by Alberta government surveyors. The Minister shall designate an official belonging to its staff to acts as the Director of Surveys.
The purpose of this Act is, inter alia, to provide a means by which the Government can give direction and provide leadership in identifying the objectives of the Province of Alberta, including economic, environmental and social objectives.
The present Act shall streamline the regulatory process governing oil/gas development in the Province. In particular, section 3 of the afore-mentioned Act establishes the “Alberta Energy Regulator” as a corporation.
