perspective of the DFID appointed Land Policy Specialist to MINITERE.
In Rwanda, land is one of the most important and fundamental natural resources. The land resource is the foundation of the national economy through agriculture which occupies more than 90% of Rwandan in rural area. However, problems related to land in Rwanda are varied.
This paper explores changes in land holdings, production and farm sizes in Rwanda between 1984-1990 to 2002.
