An Ordinance to Regulate Existing Public Ferries in the Protectorate and to Provide for the Establishment of New Public Ferries Therein.
This Ordinance makes provision with respect to the vesting in the Crown, development or alienation of reclaimed lands on the foreshore of Sierra Leone. Reclaimed lands are lands that were formerly part of the sea.
In olden times the diluvial sands of the southern Netherlands around the village nucleus formed widespread heaths, fens and bogs. On them the farmers had rights of grazing, and of digging peat and turf.
