This Guideline lays down the technical criteria used for the classification of pasture and meadows as well as the procedures to be followed for leasing pasture and meadow areas to individuals or private entities.

This Law amends and supplements articles 17 and 18 of Law No. 9948 of 2008 dealing with the already-started land distribution procedures regulated by previous Laws No. 7501 of 1991 and No. 8312 of 1998 and provides local government structures with more time to finalize the documentation.

These provisions supplement Law No. 9948 of 2008 as regards the deadlines for the submission of examination requests. The new deadline is extended for six months as from the entry into force of this Law.

This Law amends and supplements article 11 of Law 8752 of 2001 dealing with permits needed for construction on agricultural lands.
