The objective of this Act is to establish duties and liabilities relating to the National Farm Land and Forest Fund. The Fund manages agricultural land, farms and forests owned by the Republic of Slovenia.
This Act regulates the granting of permission for the acquisition of small dwellings and agricultural units. A permission is not required by residents of the same county in which the property to be acquired lies and in the other circumstances in section 1.
The amendments introduced by the present Act concern the use of land and procedures for the formation of real property. Section 38 is amended so as to provide for formation of common forests and land use rights with respect to common forests, and in particular servitude.

This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down procedures and criteria for the leasing of agricultural land and farms owned by the Republic of Slovenia and managed by National Farm Land and Forest Fund, the content and duration of the lease.
The newly established register is functionally classified as a sub-register of the Rural Activities Register pursuant to Act 1515 of 1994. Reference is made to Council Regulation (EEG) No. 3508/92 in relation with the numbering and identification system.
