    The purpose of the Act is to help to protect nature and environment in order for society to develop on a sustainable and to preserve animal and plant life. It applies to all activities in relation to pollution, such as deployment of solid, liquid or gaseous substances; air, water, noise, soil and subsoil pollution; husbandry, pests and other factors causing hygienic problems to the environment.

    The Act ensures that soil fertilizing products shall comply with the provisions laid down.     The Order aims to provide subsidy to clear overgrown areas which need preparation for grazing in order to ensure improvement of conservation of habitats and species in specifically designated areas set out by Natura 2000 areas. The Danish AgriFish Agency shall grant subsidies upon prior assessment of land. Measures for the preparation of grazing include establishment of fences, water supply and electricity supply.

    This Order establishes additional provisions related to the Farms Act. A farm/land property can be registered as such and notification thereof shall be submitted to the Survey and Cadastre Authorities to ensure proper residency status. When establishing a new farm, or purchasing additional land, a 10-year residence proof is required by the purchaser within 6 months from the date the Survey and Cadastre Authorities have registered the cadastral changes. Provisions also include companies in other EU countries or countries that have signed the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA).

    The purpose of this Act is to prevent, reduce and eliminate land pollution and avoid adverse effects from soil contamination through technical inspection projects. Chapter 4b relates to the clearing of soil and groundwater significant pollution caused by certain activities which will assess their environmental state and submit to the Environment and Food Ministry. A report on necessary steps and measures to be taken for the elimination of such pollution shall be issued by the environmental authorities.

    The scope of this Act is to protect and develop cultivation of arable lands with specific regard to requirements of environment protection and to safeguard and enhance profitable farming.Agricultural properties shall be subject to conditions of farming as specified in the present Act. Agricultural properties shall be real property registered as such in the register ("matrikle").
