    This study investigates the relationship between street trading and urban planning in Enugu City Nigeria within the expanding informal economy of the global South It particularly focuses on the perspectives of urban planners regarding the impacts and management of street trading The research employed a mixedmethod approach including personal observation questionnaires and indepth interviews analyzed through basic statistical methods Findings reveal that urban planners recognize the socioeconomic importance and cultural relevance of street trading despite its negative spatial externalities C

    The present Law enforces the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2007. In particular, the Law lays down provisions relating to the enforcement of federal legislation in the field of geographic information and the collection, management and use of spatial data for the area of the canton Basel-Stadt. Furthermore, the Law creates conditions for a cantonal spatial data infrastructure. The text consists of 25 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Principles (2); Official survey (3); Organization (4); Modification and repeal (5). One Annex is enclosed.

    FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) and other development partners are working together with countries to prepare Voluntary Guidelines that will provide practical guidance to states, civil society, the private sector, donors and development specialists on the responsible governance of tenure. By setting out principles and internationally accepted standards for responsible practices, the Voluntary Guidelines will provide a framework and point of reference that stakeholders can use when developing their own policies and actions.

    Land administration and cadastral systems are playing a crucial global role in safeguarding the security of access to land and natural resources. Information technology systems have become basic elements of these systems everywhere. Introduction of automation to land administration has improved systems’ efficiency, standardisation and accessibility, which in turn have contributed to responsible land governance. Developing country land administrations are, however, often inefficient and poorly structured.
